New Experiences

When was the last time you had an experience that felt new, nourishing, & nurturing?

New experiences that are nourishing & nurturing provide lasting, somatic-centered healing for our whole selves, & they have the ability to transform us – inspiring us to grow, adapt, & evolve.

As the nervous system receives new inputs of safety, the opportunity for new beliefs, perspectives, & healing becomes possible.

For all of us.

We only go back into the past & bring our emotions to the surface in order to work on getting a need met that wasn’t met then and to have a new & different experience now.

We work together to provide safe, new experiences for the parts of ourselves that needed & still need support. Without this type of resolve, we may reinforce old stories, cause more pain or need for protection, & further disconnect from ourselves & others.

So, while we *know* the benefits of having new, nourishing experiences, they aren’t always easy to seek out…

New territories can feel scary, especially when past experiences have proven to be so.

BUT...

With skillful support:

WE CAN find new ways to nourish & nurture ourselves through safe experiences that meet our needs (of the past & present).

WE CAN create new & healthy patterns for our nervous system, hearts, & bodies.

WE CAN go back to events that happened in the past – memories, felt-senses, emotions that were crushing, painful, or overwhelming & reshape them.

WE CAN surround those memories with whatever was needed then by offering it to ourselves now. 

WE CAN change the ways memories live within our bodies.

As we seek repair within ourselves, it’s incredibly important to remember to be kind & compassionate during your unique process.

Your journey is not linear, it’s an ever-evolving process that each of us will naturally weave in and out of over the course of our lives.
