Embodiment

Happy New Year!

We hope you had a restful & nourishing pause to close out your year.

As we head into a new month, a new season, & maybe new intentions, it felt fitting to unpack to the word, Embodiment.

To be embodied is to inhabit your body with your full being.
It’s the felt-sense of who you are in your wholeness.

It can sometimes be hard to define broadly because it’s active... embodiment is a living experience from deep within, unique to each of us.

Embodiment can be experiencing yourself through…

* The tingles on your skin
* The expansion of your chest & belly on an inhale
* The sand between your toes
* The sensation of a smile
* The taste & texture of a meal
* And so much more...

So, ask yourself: What does embodiment mean to you?

To us, embodiment is the tangible expression of a quality, idea, concept, practice, & belief. It’s the ability to steep deep into the felt-sense of an experience.

Check out our post unpacking the concept of a "felt-sense" here.

In many ways, embodiment deepens our connection & refines our attunement to everything ---> leading to integrated experiences of wholeness, unity, & oneness within this beautiful life.

Embodiment work invites us to experience ourselves (and life) in & with our whole living organism, dissolving the fabricated division between our body & mind.

Sadly, we have fewer reasons to connect to our bodies today in our modern world, they become less prioritized as technology takes over, & as our needs are met through convenience. Machines are more & more capable of capturing our attention, our loyalty, & provide false sensations of reward, connection, & care.

- We move for leisure & health, not to escape predators
- We spend time completing tasks & jobs in a virtual world behind screens
- We receive pre-packaged & pre-washed food so we don’t have to think about securing our physical nourishment moment-to-moment

Modern developments have allowed for many of us to live daily lives that do not require our physical presence for survival – this in many ways is a great privilege.

This sedentary nature of our physical bodies in comparison to the last even 100 years is remarkable & propels us further into disembodiment in our everyday lives.

That makes this healing work even more necessary & important.
We all deserve it, we all need it, especially today.

Within The Process, we work to embody & reintegrate all of who we are, encouraging the felt-sense of wholeness & unity.

In order to restore this deep connection with our bodies, we must first become aware of our bodies, which takes us back to the first step in the process of ATTUNE — from the ‘E’ of Embodiment, we return to the ‘A’ of awareness, & so on.

It is all truly, a process.

This work takes time.
It takes practice.
It takes trust.

You are worth the effort, & everyone deserves to embody themselves fully.

If you’re ready to dive deeper into connection with yourself, others, or the world around you, we have a spot for you in our 2024 cohorts.
