Nurture the nerve that’s all the rage right now and steep into the deep rest and restoration you deserve. This session starts and ends with vagal nurturing, a practice that helps to engage the vagus nerve. The role of the vagus nerve is to maintain a state of homeostasis (balance) in the nervous system and the internal organs. There is self-massage and breathing practices included in this one which help to some regulate the system before entering into the more formal restorative poses. Give yourself permission to rest and accept the invitation to repair.
